Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with ROC Trust!

To achieve its mission, ROC relies on volunteers like you who may have a lot or a little experience in different areas. Please, we need your help!

You might fill such roles as: holiday tutor, homework (primary and secondary) tutor, interpreter, driving instructor, mentor, office duties, fundraising Jambo Soccer Kidz Festival, serving on the Board of Trustees and much more.

We require that all volunteers:

  • Be respectful and non-judgmental of different cultures and race

  • Complete and submit the application form online

  • Have an interview with the programme co-ordinator ASAP and

  • Attend the volunteer training day.

As a volunteer of The ROC you will network in your community, build relationships with peers, learn and understand people of refugee backgrounds and their culture, and have loads of fun in a constructive environment.

N.B: There is no limit to how many programmes you can volunteer for.

Please check out what opportunities are there for volunteers on our Volunteer opportunites page  and contact the office at 07 847 6968
