Conversational English

Before beginning the programme each student is given a comprehensive oral interview and reading placement test. This is done to assure that progress meets the student’s expectations.

Objectives

  • Enhance English oral communication

  • Support adult refugees to learn and build confidence in communicating well so that they can socialize with the wider community, and improve opportunities for employment

Subjects covered include:

  • Pronunciation, Speaking, Listening, Spelling, Reading, Writing and Grammar

Hours

Tuesdays: 4.00pm – 6.00pm                                                                          

Wednesdays: 4.00pm – 6.00pm        

Saturdays: 11.00am – 1.00pm
