Who we are

The ROC is a not for profit organisation established in June 2005 by former refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo who experienced many settlement difficulties from their time of arrival  to the time of integration into NZ society was too long and had many gaps of understanding. They wanted to address the issues by advocating, educating and informing individuals and families from people refugee backgrounds and other disadvantaged people.

Vision: Promoting faster and better integration

Mission: Helping former refugees to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to increased community participation and cultural integration.

  • To promote themselves as assets of New Zealand
